Privacy policy

Report Ponzi collects as little as possible. There are no accounts, no advertising trackers, and no analytics on this site.

Information you send through forms

The site has two forms: the review form on the reporting page and the contact form. When you submit one, its contents are sent by email to the person who runs Report Ponzi so they can read and reply to it. The site itself doesn't keep a database of submissions.

Depending on the form, that email includes:

• Your name, if you choose to give it, and your email address
• Your state, the type of investment, and the warning signs you selected (review form)
• The topic you chose (contact form)
• Your message or description
• The time it was sent and the approximate country it came from, which our hosting provider determines from your network connection

This information is used only to read and respond to your message and, for corrections, to fix the site. It isn't sold, and it isn't shared for marketing.

Service providers

Cloudflare and Resend process data on the site's behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare's privacy policy
• Cloudflare Turnstile runs a quick security check on the two pages with forms, to tell people from automated spam. It loads a script from Cloudflare and uses signals such as your IP address and browser details. Cloudflare describes what Turnstile collects and how it's used in its Turnstile privacy addendum.
• Resend delivers form submissions by email. Resend's privacy policy

Fonts, styles, and scripts are served from this site. The only exception is the Turnstile security check on the reporting page and the contact page, which loads from Cloudflare.

Information stored in your browser

The evidence checklist and timeline worksheet on the reporting page save what you enter in your browser's local storage, on your own device. That information is never sent to Report Ponzi. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

The site itself doesn't set cookies.

What not to send

Please don't include passwords, bank or brokerage account numbers, Social Security numbers, or cryptocurrency wallet recovery phrases in any form. Report Ponzi never needs them, and no legitimate helper does.

Children

This site is intended for adults and isn't directed to children under 13.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new review date. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact form.
